My My Moon was created as a pseudo name by the artist Tara. It serves a symbol that can be found in most of her artworks that can be traced back to her fondness of folklore and the mythology that comes with it.

My My Moon grew up in the San Frenando Valley for most of her life to her Ecuadorian mother and American father. However, unlike most of her friends in the community My My Moon did not exactly fit in with the surroundings. Being of mixed decent often put her in the middle of groups that wanted her to be one or the other. Because of that, My My Moon found that art was her go to.

She pursued Visual Arts through Middle School, High School and even College . Now My My Moon works full time as Visual Art Teacher and pursues her passion projects whenever she has time between being a mom to her little Oni and navigating teacher life.
